Kaylin Martin, PT, HBKin, MSc(PT)

Registered Physiotherapist

I am a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. I graduated summa cum laude with a Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Gerontology from McMaster University in 2008. I continued at McMaster University for my masters degree in Physiotherapy, graduating in 2010.

Although I am not originally from Meaford, I have been practicing in Meaford since 2012, when our family was moved for a military posting. We have come to love this region of Ontario and have made it our permanent home.

I have taken many post-graduate courses, most recently in the field of women's health. This new area of interest has been ignited since the birth of our second child. In addition, I have updated my learning in the area of chronic pain and best evidence related to pain interventions.

Orthopedics continues to be a passion, however, and I am pleased to continue treating patients with sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, arthritic conditions and all other musculoskeletal injury.

My Approach

Health, Movement, Well-being

I believe that a patient should be actively involved in their rehabilitation process and decision making. Setting patient specific appropriate goals is fundamental to a successful treatment relationship.

The complex nature of the body requires attention to not just physical impairment but also addressing mental and emotional components.

In my new treatment setting, I hope to create a comfortable and private therapeutic environment. Focusing on assessment and treatment strategies suggested by the most recent evidence based research.
